The remaining pair of bedrooms are found in two more pavilions hidden downhill – most guests drive back up, forsaking a steep walk – and throw in their own plunge pools and a shared, al fresco gym. All rooms come with a bathtub and private terrace.

So much privacy works well for groups of friends, and ditto the location: Gustavia’s boutiques and restaurants are just a short drive away, as is Gouverneur’s gorgeous beach.
