Villa My Way’s name is quickly explained: as you enter, a grand piano dominates its large lounge as photos of Frank Sinatra – he of the song – hang on walls. Nor does the glamour stop there: the same space also contains sleek Corbusier chairs, cool low-slung sofas and a built-in bar. Its canary-yellow table lends a bold splash of colour amid slate-grey floors and off-white walls.

The room’s undoubtedly a visual showstopper, but it faces serious competition. Just outside are a teak-wood terrace and infinity-edge heated pool (encompassing a Jacuzzi section) which both stretch along the house’s entire length. Straight ahead from each, and from the svelte sun loungers, are gasp-inducing views of island-speckled ocean.

Back inside you’ll find a true gourmand’s kitchen, one which can open to the covered terrace courtesy of a remote-controlled screen. Its counter and stools enable relaxed morning natters over coffee. Split between this main floor and the one below, Villa My Way’s five ensuite, equal-sized bedrooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows, queen beds and his-and-hers dressing rooms. Space is again abundant, aided by satellite TVs that cleverly retract under the floor.

Also downstairs is a fitness room facing the ocean, and below that a garage with room for 11 cars. Factor in the proximity to Flamands Beach, shops and restaurants, and Villa My Way can, in fact, suit anyone’s way: large families, groups of friends or a corporate retreat.
