The two-floor chalet’s convenience and idyllic setting are matched by its airiness. There are numerous communal spaces, including the main entertainment room with its games table, bar, and baby piano, and a formal dining room suiting celebratory dinners.

Throughout the interiors, soft cream carpets and plush sofas offset stone feature walls and beamed cathedral ceilings to create a cosy yet cheerful atmosphere. Furnished with granite counters and stained-glass cabinets, the kitchen has fine mountain views to accompany a morning coffee. So too does the yard’s four-person hot tub, looking towards aspen tree forest beyond an ornamental pond.

Three of the six large bedrooms are upstairs, among them two master suites with gas fireplaces, jacuzzi bathtubs and private decks facing slopes you might ski tomorrow. The largest five sleeping quarters all have king beds and flatscreen TVs; the additional room contains two bunks for children plus, if needed, a convertible sofa.
