Part of the resplendent Controni family estate, Villa Fattore is a gorgeous eight-bedroom Tuscan villa that’s located just outside the atmospheric Renaissance city of Lucca. With its exposed wooden beams, rustic charm and elegant furnishings, the renovated villa’s interior tells the story of its historic owners, the influential Controni dynasty.

Just a short distance from the often-overlooked but utterly enchanting city of Lucca, Villa Fattore also allows for easy access to Pisa's Leaning Tower and the world-class galleries and striking piazzas of Florence. Tuscany's emblematic olive groves and rolling hills spread in all directions, and the surrounding area boasts excellent hiking and cycling routes.

Capable of sleeping a maximum of 15 people, the villa features six bedrooms with king-size beds, a seventh bedroom with a French bed, a further bedroom with two twin beds. All of the bedrooms are equipped with spacious ensuite bathrooms. Furnished and finished in the traditional Tuscan style, with cool, tiled floors and baroque chandeliers and light fittings, Villa Fattore benefits from ample socialising space. While inviting sofas encourage you to unwind in the living room, the long dining table is ideal for lavish Italian feasts. A traditional Tuscan farmhouse kitchen caters for all of your culinary needs.

Outside, the grounds are dominated by an exquisitely maintained private garden that offers unforgettable views of the olive groves, orchards and pine-covered hills surrounding the villa. A sizable swimming pool ensures you're able to enjoy a refreshing dip beneath the Italian sun, and the romantic al fresco dining area can seat 22 guests. A BBQ is also available if the idea of afternoon grilling takes your fancy. With its fascinating past, authentic finish and superb location, Villa Fattore is an excellent choice for large families or groups of friends looking for a tranquil slice of Italian paradise.
