Villa Nardini
The villa sits in a tiny hamlet in the Tuscan countryside and is surrounded by a vast park filled with fountains and marble statues. The cobbled streets of the hamlet seem frozen in time and lined with independent shops, bakeries and family-run restaurants. This is your chance to experience Tuscan life as it's been lived for centuries – laid back, languid, and relaxed under the warm sunshine. Nearby vineyards produce some of the best wine in the region, while olive groves line the hills.
The villa's 12 bedrooms are all opulently designed using traditional colour palettes, rich fabrics, and ornately carved bed frames and furniture. The configuration is flexible, with four twin bedrooms that can be made up as queen-size beds and eight double bedrooms with king-size beds. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, individually controlled air conditioning and heating and central music systems. This fabulous villa goes one better than a simple dining room – its banquet hall is lavishly decorated with chandeliers, Baroque-style furnishings and a huge dining table. Try some of the estate's best wines in your own wine-tasting room, or play cards or pool in the billiard room. The villa's gym is fully fitted with the latest cardio and weights equipment, while the kitchen provides everything your personal chef needs to cook authentic Italian dishes.
Outside, the original courtyard provides spacious al fresco dining for everyone, while the surrounding grounds beg to be explored. A large salt-water swimming pool is floodlit at night for a swim beneath the stars, while shared access to the tennis courts, football field and volleyball fields ensure everyone stays active and entertained.
