Tucked away in the serene hills of the Umbrian valley in Murlo, Villa Antonietta is a beautiful 16th-century farmhouse oozing with traditional Italian charm. With eight bedrooms set between the main house and a separate apartment, this is an excellent location for unforgettable family holidays. Leave your distractions behind and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Tuscany.

Owned by the same family for many generations, the Murlo Estate encompasses thousands of hectares of enchanting woodlands and olive groves. Surrounding it are a number of beautiful lakes and rivers, providing the perfect base for a week of complete relaxation or adventure.

Inside, wood-beamed ceilings add a cosy, rustic feel throughout the villa. The neutral colour palette seems to emphasise the verdant greenery that can be enjoyed from every window. Six bedrooms can be found in the main house, including three king-size double ensuite bedrooms and one twin ensuite bedroom. The remaining two bedrooms in the main villa are twin rooms sharing a bathroom. The final two bedrooms can be found in the separate Olivio apartment, both of these are king-size doubles and come with their own private bathrooms. For guests with small children, a baby cot, child’s high chair and baby bathtub can be ready for your arrival upon request.

Soak up the stunning views of the neighbouring valleys and the medieval castle of Antognolla from the privacy of the garden. A gorgeous infinity pool with an adjoining jacuzzi lets you relax in the warm afternoon sunshine, while the nearby al fresco dining area lets you enjoy those spectacular sunsets with great company and food, beautifully shaded by a wisteria. There's one thing for certain: in the heart of the Tuscan hills, Villa Antonietta is as close to paradise as it gets.
