Situated on the spectacular Andalucian hillsides that rise from the Mediterranean southwest of Málaga, Villa del Cielo is a gorgeous four-bedroom villa that boasts a contemporary interior and remarkable outdoor space. Ideal for families and friends looking to enjoy the Spanish sun in complete comfort, the villa features unparalleled views of the coast and surrounding countryside.

Part of the Valtocado neighbourhood and just a few kilometres from the famous white-walled village of Mijas, Villa del Cielo benefits from a perfect location that puts both the sea and mountains within easy reach. Fuengirola's famous beaches are just 20 minutes by car, while the lively beach resort of Torremolinos is 30 minutes. Guests can be in the vibrant city of Málaga and enjoy its world-class galleries, museums, shopping and seafood in under an hour. Several excellent golf courses are within a short drive, and hiking opportunities abound in the Sierra de Mijas.

Configured in an L-shape, with one half dedicated to communal spaces and the other to bedrooms, the villa epitomises elegant modernism. The light, open and airy interiors are embellished with carefully-selected artworks and eye-catching light fittings, while striking furniture and furnishings lend the villa character. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living space contains cosy seating, a sizable dining table and all the appliances and equipment required to whip up fantastic tapas to enjoy on the terrace. On the lower floor, a phenomenally well-equipped fitness room overlooks the mountains, and a comfy movie room facilitates laidback family movie nights.

Two bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds, and two contain two twin beds. All four benefit from ensuite bathrooms finished in a cool porcelain marble-effect tile, access to the wrap-around terrace and mountain views. Digital artworks bring a splash of colour to the otherwise crisp, white decor.

Outside, the large swimming pool is the perfect place to cool off after kicking back and relaxing on one of the many terrace loungers. An enticing outdoor sofa makes for an excellent spot for some holiday reading, and starlit Spanish feasts are on the cards thanks to the al fresco dining table. The second terrace on the lower floor includes sofas, hanging chairs, table football, ping pong and a pool table. Packed with plenty of in-house entertainment and boasting a fantastic location, Villa del Cielo is the ideal choice for guests who want to blend relaxed fun in the sun with a healthy dose of Andalusian culture.
