Head to the popular Secret Beach, where shallow, calm waters are ideal for safe swimming and snorkelling. This beach is dotted with bars and grills serving popular local dishes for informal dining. To the south, find the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, where you can snorkel and dive with experienced guides to look at the breathtaking coral and abundant marine life – including the occasional sighting of hammerhead sharks. It's easy to take a day trip to mainland Belize. A visit to one of its statuesque Mayan ruins can be followed by a fun tour of a local rum distillery.
Villa Sand's earthy tones and rustic wooden furniture feel warm and inviting. Curl up on the cosy sofas in the living space and watch a movie on the flat screen, cooled by the ocean breeze drifting through the French doors. The two bedrooms at Villa Sand boast hardwood floors, traditional furnishings, and spectacular views. The ensuites are brimming with character, cheerful tiling and dual vanity sinks. One bedroom offers a king-size bed, and the second houses a king-size and a queen-size bed, welcoming up to six guests.
The outdoor spaces are the jewel in the crown of this stunning villa. Not only are you moments from the large pool, but you can also dive into the ocean from the villa's dock. With both kayaks and bicycles available for guests, you can explore the coast by sea and land. After busy days, lie back and swing gently in a hammock, snooze on the terrace loungers or spend quality time together in the paradise that is Villa Sand.
