Caroline Issa shares her tips on summer dressing

She was born in Montreal and calls London home – Caroline Issa is something of a global citizen. When Caroline isn’t covering Seoul Fashion Week, she can be found exploring Singapore or hiking the mountains of Bhutan. Speaking in a onefinestay home at Thurloe Square for an event we hosted with THE OUTNET, she shared some of her tips for getting that summer look.

Caroline wore THE OUTNET’s limited edition Saloni dress (pictured above). With a palette of soft pastel tones, the dress reminds Caroline of an irresistible ice cream counter on a summer’s day.

This summer, she feels drawn to fresh colours – white and pastels. The right tailoring and shape can complement this sense of lightness – off the shoulder isn’t just cool, it’s an elegant cut that anyone can wear. For summer travels, Caroline recommends finding clothes that are easy to wear, don’t need to be ironed and still make you feel a million dollars.

It can be hard to follow trends – you might feel the need to constantly rethink your wardrobe – but Caroline believes in keeping it simple, and accessorising. A pair of earrings can transform a daytime outfit into something perfect for evening adventures. Wear what makes you feel good, and then build on that.
