London’s romantic spaces

Try afternoon tea at sketch Gallery (left), with its fantastical, high-ceilinged interior of pastel pinks for a contemporary dinner à deux. With garlands of flowers hanging overhead, Clos Maggiore (right) is more traditional –  Architectural Digest declared it the world’s most romantic restaurant.

Dainty cakes and desserts are the best – here we have Aida Mollenkamp’s Hazelnut mascarpone French toast sandwiches, ideal for sharing with someone special.
