Dramatically nestled on the cliffside with sweeping views of Mismaloya Bay from every room, Casa La Vista is just a five-minute walk from the soft sands of Mismaloya Beach and 15 minutes from Puerto Vallarta. This modern Mexican villa has seven bedrooms and a large open-plan living/dining space that leads out to a terrace with a hot tub, swim-up bar and infinity pool hanging over the ocean.

Inside, there’s serious attention to detail, from hand-crafted cabinets, elegant marble and Cantera floors to floor-to-ceiling glass doors that let the outside in. There’s a gourmet kitchen, plus two indoor bars and a choice of dining areas, so it’s easy to entertain. A large games room features billiards and air hockey, and a rooftop terrace is the perfect spot for watching the sunset.

The seven bedrooms have private ensuite bathrooms – all have a shower and two rooms have the addition of a whirlpool bathtub and direct access to the terrace. Six of the bedrooms have king beds, while the final bedroom is a twin room. The villa is fully staffed, so you’ll be well looked after by the cook and housekeepers, who have their own quarters. Casa La Vista lives up to its name: ‘house with a view’ and a holiday here is all about enjoying the natural beauty of Mexico in style.
