Nestling in the hillsides of Cruz Bay Quarter, Cay Syrah is the ideal opportunity to experience island life on the sheltered west coast of St John. Six bedrooms comfortably sleep up to 12 guests, making this extensive and beautifully decorated villa a perfect choice for a larger family celebration in the Caribbean sunshine.

Cruz Bay is the main entry point onto St John, and that first glimpse of the island will always stay with you. The bustling harbour is home to yachts and fishing boats, while the harbourside is lined with restaurants serving delicious food with a uniquely Caribbean flavour - conch fritters and Johnnycakes, for example. The wonderfully named Mongoose Junction is a must-see spot, a magnificent example of Caribbean architecture and home to artisans, galleries and restaurants.

The terracotta exterior accented with white pillars is your welcome to this colourful villa. Specifically designed to cater for guests with reduced mobility, its layout is mindful and easy to negotiate, even for wheelchair users. The décor is delightfully quirky and filled with patterns, colours and textures that are a visual feast. The living spaces encourage guests to unwind and socialise, while the dining areas feel laid-back for those family feasts and lazy afternoon BBQs. Don't forget to try the local rum cocktail - a Painkiller!

The villa’s six bedrooms comprise four rooms with king-size beds, a fifth room with two twin beds, and a bright and happy children’s room with a single-over-single bunk bed. The bathrooms are accessible with no-curb showers and grab bars, making this a truly accessible villa. The décor differs in each room, giving it a boutique ambience and plenty of personality.

Outside, a lush garden provides a quiet haven in which to relax. An outdoor kitchen has everything you need for a family cookout, and the rooftop deck gives you an uninterrupted view of the night sky in all its glory.
