Nestled on the sandy shore, right by the sea within the Rum Point area of Grand Cayman, is a real home-from-home in the form of Coral Kai. This five-bedroom villa has a beach house-inspired look and laid-back feel throughout. A large family or two groups will find Coral Kai has everything they need for a fun, relaxing stay.

Each bedroom has its own private bathroom; several of which have deep bathtubs for indulgent soaks. Two bedrooms feature king-size beds. Another two have queen-size beds, with the fifth bedroom being a lovely twin. Enjoy waking up every morning to either calming garden or sea views. Some of the bedrooms also open directly onto the terrace with a swimming pool, outdoor seating, charcoal grill and dining table for al fresco meals.

The indoor lounge and dining spaces also have doors that lead out to the terrace. A place that's especially tempting when it's time to swap watching the TV for watching the sun setting over the sea. And tucked away on the garden side of the villa is a comfortable den with another flat-screen TV.

Take a short walk down from the pool terrace, past tropical greenery and you'll be right on the shore. Where the traditional Caribbean sight of a white sand beach lapped by the sparkling sea awaits you. The warm waters here are perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

Walk west for about 20 minutes and you'll reach Rum Point Club with a beach, restaurant and the opportunity to try a range of watersports.
