Perched on the hillside with delightful views of the Pacific Ocean, Estate Ikal is a gorgeous contemporary retreat for large groups of up to 16. Its prime location in the gated Punta Mita resort puts guests within easy reach of white sandy beaches, a dynamic dining scene, and a wealth of high-end resort amenities.
Two Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses - the Pacifico and Bahia - lie close to the villa, and there are excellent tennis and pickleball courts for a spot of friendly competition. Leisurely beach days await at the resort’s pristine coves, enhanced by beach clubs serving craft cocktails and oceanfront restaurants that showcase the day's freshest catch. You can rent water sports equipment like paddleboards, kayaks, and surfboards, and there are superb snorkelling coves along the coast where you may be lucky enough to spot manta rays and dolphins.
At the centre of this expansive villa is a minimalist living space that can be opened on two sides to offer access to the pools and manicured grounds. This light, airy room exudes understated elegance, with a sumptuous seating area and a handsome solid wood dining table. You’ll find everything you need to whip up a feast in the gourmet kitchen, and for those who want a sunset supper, there is a lovely al fresco dining area on the secluded back lawn. Work off that extra slice of tres leches cake in the villa’s state-of-the-art fitness studio, where you’ll also find a spa room and sauna.
Playful colours, warm wooden accents, and tranquil private terraces define the villa’s eight ensuite bedrooms. Three of these rooms house a king-size bed, three bedrooms each have two queen-size beds, and the final two bedrooms each offer two double beds. The same assured design touch is found in their boutique ensuites, where guests can wash away the sand and saltwater beneath indulgent rainwater showers.
