As well as comedy clubs, bars and gourmet restaurants lining its historic streets, it's also home to many of events and celebrations, covering everything from Americana music to fine dining and world-renowned jazz festivals. It's impossible not to have a good time in Telluride, a historic town that has emerged from the gold and silver prospecting days of the 19th century to become a vibrant and friendly destination all year round.

Utilising natural materials such as oversized stones and traditional wooden framing gives Hood Park Manor an authentic mountain chalet feel. Lavishly decorated in rich textiles and plush furnishings, it's a warm and welcoming place to celebrate a family birthday or anniversary. The huge windows turn those marvellous mountain vistas into living works of art. The main chalet houses five exquisite king-size bedrooms and a bunk room with two sets of twin-over-twin bunks. For a family group that would like a little extra privacy, the guest cottage has a private sitting room, kitchen and dining space, a king-size bedroom and a cosy queen-size room too.

Ski access is right on your doorstep, while the gondola takes you into the heart of busy Telluride for beer and pizza or a table at one of the town's exclusive restaurants. A vast deck area resplendent with a BBQ grill and seating and mountain views will undoubtedly inspire al fresco dining with your group too, or simply relax in the outdoor hot tub and unwind.
