More like ‘the best life’. Villa Buena Vida is family-friendly, very luxurious and superbly positioned. Cabo San Lucas’s buzzy restaurants and boutiques are only eight miles away, as is its iconic Arch rock. It’ll take you a piffling 30 minutes to drive to pleasingly-quaint San José del Cabo, while spas and famous Medano Beach are closer still. Closest of all is surrounding Cabo del Sol, a prestigious gated enclave with two scenic golf courses: the arroyo-crossing Desert Course and Jack Nicklaus’s Cove Club, strung along the Sea of Cortez.

Talking of which, Villa Buena Vida enjoys splendid ocean views – plus welcome breezes – from gently sloping gardens. Within then, the infinity pool and its tiki-style swim-up bar both afford broad vistas. So too does a sun deck, featuring loungers that can be wheeled about, and the eight-person hot tub. And indeed a balcony-like veranda, providing shaded lounge and dining areas. It’s all deeply restful.

There’s also a firepit to capitalise on Cabo’s famously balmy evenings. Otherwise head inside, where a Mediterranean looks meet vintage Mex design: sleek white sofas and klismos dining chairs amid thatched ceilings and vivid, folksy artworks. Beyond a focal ‘great room’ and its stellar kitchen, every air-conditioned sleeping quarter is ensuite and just as cheerfully coloured. Three afford sea views from their balcony or terrace; the last, providing privacy and fun for kids, combines six bunks with its own bathroom.

    • Villa Buena Vida can accommodate wedding parties/special events on a case by case basis. There is a minimum stay requirement, an extra event fee plus any applicable permit fees.
    • Please note that the security deposit required for this villa is 25% of the total price of the rental, with a minimum security deposit of $1000.
    • Please note: A new home is under construction nearby. While disruption is currently minimal, work occurs Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Estimated completion: October 2025, please contact us for more information.
    • Please note, this villa can accommodate a maximum of 10 adults and 6 children.
    • Please note neighborhood quiet hours of 10:00pm-9:00am. Excessive noise is not allowed at any time. In gated communities, noise or other disturbing behavior may result in a fine.
