Located on the beachfront in the gated community of Orchid Bay Estates, this traditional Dominican home-from-home is fully staffed so that you can totally unwind on holiday. There’s a freeform swimming pool for refreshing dips, plush sun loungers for soaking up the sunshine, and the palm-fringed beach is just steps away for snorkelling in the warm ocean waters.

This large ten-bedroom villa has custom-designed mahogany and walnut furnishings, creating a classic feel. There’s a cosy lounge, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, media room, games room and even a spa. Bedrooms are charmingly named after flora and fauna – such as The Hibiscus Room and Birds of Paradise Room – and all have air-conditioning and private ensuites. Most are king rooms, while a couple are twins, and there’s a choice of upper or main floor bedrooms.
