The big picture Once a warehouse, this home in Bastille has been entirely reimagined by the hosts (they’re both artistic, and one’s a former photographer). Stepping into the home, you’ll find a huge office-cum-studio space straight ahead. Furnished with two desks, a turquoise sofa and a piano, this striking room has long windows and blonde wooden beams. Heading through to the adjoining sitting room – where you’ll find pleasantly mismatched furniture and a collection of artworks (both large and small). The sitting room connects to a contemporary kitchen, a smart space with a glass-roofed dining area. Above is the whitewashed master bedroom, which has a king-size bed and a grey-and-turquoise ensuite. The third bedroom is up here too, and there’s also a bathroom and a little terrace. Finally, up another flight of stairs, there’s the second bedroom, where more wall-wide windows frame a view over Bastille’s rooftops.
