The tranquillity of St Barts and its laid-back lifestyle make it the perfect destination for those lazy, do-nothing, chill-out getaways. The only thing you need to think about is your next rum cocktail or some delicious spicy accras cod fritters to nibble on. The blend of French and Afro-Caribbean cultures creates a vibrant mix where music and dancing are at the heart of a good night out. During the days, the Trade Winds take the edge off the heat, making it just right for exploring the lush forests of the island's interior. St Barts is a veritable paradise.

Aquablue Estate may be two distinct villas, but it feels intimate and secluded. The villas are decorated in neutral tones to let the lagoon's natural beauty take centre stage. Both have exceptional kitchens where you or your personal chef can rustle up some Creole culinary creations to eat in the elegant dining rooms or al fresco. A total of 12 bedrooms are split equally between the villas. All have king-size beds, ensuite bathrooms, and views of either the lagoon or the immaculate gardens.

Outside, two heated infinity pools provide the ideal spot to cool off and relax. Or head to the beach just a few steps away for an early morning yoga session. Aquablue Estate is the right choice for larger groups who want to enjoy an exclusive getaway in opulent surroundings. It's spacious and welcoming, with those special secret hideaway spots where you can sling up a hammock, push your hat over your eyes, and snooze in the afternoon sun.
