Tucked away among the rolling Tuscan hills and ancient vineyards that produce some of Italy’s finest wine sits Casale Cetena Rossa. This glorious eight bedrooms, ten bathroom farmhouse welcomes up to sixteen guests with a homely, comfortable and relaxed villa that’s full of character. As you drive up to the villa, you’ll be greeted by a classic Tuscan setting, complete with pristine gardens and a long gravel driveway. This villa is secluded and private, giving guests a tranquil spot away from the rest of the world in which to relax.

The villa sits on the Casali di Casole estate, a region that has a history dating back over 5,000 years. The 10th century castle sits at its heart, and all around you’ll find hilltop villages and towns to explore, filled with family-run bistros, tiny boutiques and a warm welcome. Your time here can be as eventful or as peaceful as you want, and there are plenty of ways to explore this rich landscape. From art classes to wine tasting, hiking and horseback riding, Tuscany just begs to be explored. And with so much on offer, this is one destination that you’ll come back to again and again.

The villa captures the essence of the original farmhouse and enhances it with tasteful décor throughout. The spectacular lounge area features brick arches and vaulted ceilings that are unique. The kitchen sports a huge oak beam running across the ceiling, and throughout the villa, you’ll find naked stone walls that are incredibly tactile and beautifully preserved. Combine this with premium quality appliances and a tiled wall in the kitchen, and a graceful dining table with enough room for all your guests and you have a stylish property full of personality.

The eight bedrooms are sublime, with simple yet tasteful furnishings and incredible views. There are five king-size beds, as well as ensuite facilities with roll-top baths, rainfall showers, and acres of Italian marble in the main residence as well as 2 queen beds. You can find one more king-size bed and two more queen-sized beds in the nearby guest residence. A custom tea room makes a perfect spot for an afternoon tea or morning coffee break before the next adventure begins. Outside you’ll find a heated glass tile infinity pool and lounge area, as well as a pergola and traditional pizza oven for those al fresco meals under the stars. A glass of local wine, a slice of homemade pizza and a Tuscan sunset – what could be better?
