Look out of the windows at Casale Pietti and in the distance, you’ll see the tiny medieval hill towns of Radicondoli and Mensano. Home to just 150 people, it’s almost as if time stands still in this beautiful part of the world. The soft ringing of church bells drifts across the landscape, while the scent of wild thyme and basil fills the air. It’s no wonder that this breathtaking location has long been the inspiration for artists, poets and writers.

The villa is packed with charm. It’s been tastefully decorated throughout, allowing the villa’s personality to shine through. However, there’s no compromise on comfort, and you’ll find the living areas filled with soft leather chairs and vintage furniture that complement the bare stone farmhouse walls. The four bedrooms are sublime, with ensuite bathrooms that make copious use of the local marble. The master suite has a king-size bed, while the remaining three bedrooms all offer up cosy queen-size beds and their own ensuite facilities. And that gourmet Italian kitchen is delightful, with a long cushioned stone seat running all along one side of the wall.

Outside, an infinity pool is just right for a few early morning laps underneath a cloudless sky. The gardens are serene and filled with flowers, while the sun terrace is a perfect spot for capturing that exquisite view on canvas. Casale Pietti is truly special, and everything you could possibly want from a Tuscan escape to revive the mind, body, and soul.
