With four bedrooms and plenty of space for up to eight guests, the villa is a sublime retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Casale Poggia Alla Corona is part of the spectacular Casali di Casole estate, covering thousands of acres. Rather than simply being home to some stunning villas, this region is also recognised as a Model Game Reserve and is working with farmers whose families have lived on this land for generations to preserve the character and spirit of the region. You’ll see wildlife everywhere, and olive groves and vineyards line the hills. The region is famous for its Sangiovese and Petit Verdot grapes that go on to make some of the finest wines in the world. It’s no surprise, then, that your villa has extensive wine racks filled with local vintages.

It may not be as big as some of its neighbours, but the villa has every amenity you could wish for. A charming living area has access onto the sun terrace, and is filled with brick arches and picture windows that let the light flood in. The kitchen has the very latest appliances but still manages to retain that wonderfully warm farmhouse feel. The four bedrooms are quirky yet comfortable and tranquil spaces that make use of rustic design complemented with the most elegant of ensuite bathrooms. The master suite has a king-size bed, as do bedrooms two and three. Bedroom four has a delightfully unusual pair of queen beds that include a raised four-poster design rendered in a ‘shabby-chic’ décor that’s light, bright and airy.

Outside, a heated glass-tiled infinity pool appears to drop off the edge of the hillside and is the place to relax and unwind on a warm summer’s day. In the evening, the fire pit is cosy and welcoming, and an outdoor dining area is just right for al fresco meals cooked in your very own wood-burning oven. Casale Poggia Alla Corona is the epitome of Tuscan living, where the outside world is left behind and those warm summer breezes simply blow all your cares away.
