Castello Di San Bartolomeo is an eight-bedroom villa, set within the idyllic Montalcino region of Tuscany. Originally built in the 14th century, this stately dwelling has since been converted into a beautiful holiday retreat for up to 16 guests. Whether you are planning a much-needed reunion with friends or perhaps celebrating a special occasion, this villa has all you need to celebrate in comfort.

Many of the castle’s original features have been retained; coffered ceilings, mosaic-tiled floors, and beautiful antique furnishings combine to create an authentic and traditional hideaway. Modern comforts can be found throughout, too. Spend your mornings working out in the personal gym, before heading to the private sauna to unwind. Prefer to be out in the fresh air? You’ll find your own tennis courts and a spacious swimming pool among the expansive grounds.

Spanning 2,500 square metres, this remarkable castle boasts eight well-appointed bedrooms, seven of which are ensuite. Each bedroom boasts its own unique charm and character, from the tower suite to the spacious family suite.

With over 700 hectares of garden surrounding the villa, you will enjoy unparalleled privacy and seclusion. The Orcia Valley is famed for its influence on many Renaissance painters, and once you’ve arrived it’s so easy to see why. In the evenings, the gardens and valleys are bathed with a golden glow - the perfect time for a glass of wine on the open-air terrace.
