Furnished and finished in the traditional Provençal style, Chez Jean-Claude is a breathtakingly beautiful farmhouse complex in the heart of the Alpilles. Comprising a farmhouse and two stone cottages, the house is moments from the peaceful streets of Eygalières, where locals enjoy lazy lunches in the village restaurants. The artistic hub of Avignon is 30 minutes away by car, as are the picturesque hilltop settlements of the Luberon Valley. To the south, Marseille and the calm, azure waters of the Mediterranean are an hour’s drive.

Chez Jean-Claude's five alluring bedrooms are situated across the main house and two independent stone cottages, all furnished with wonderfully rustic ensuite bathrooms. In the main house, two bedrooms feature queen-size beds, and the other a king-size bed. Both charming cottages are organised similarly, with a queen-size bed on the lower floor and a mezzanine level above with two singles.

The traditional open-plan kitchen-come-dining room delights with its tiled flooring, warm hues, cosy fireplace and 14-seat table. The exquisitely decorated lounge occupies the centre of the house and acts as the main social space. Striking views, vaulted ceilings, comfy seating and a well-stocked library entice you in, while the grand fireplace ensures you stay. The cinema room in the basement boasts a 240 cm screen and serves as a nightclub, should your party fancy a dance.

Outside, thyme and rosemary perfume the air and make lounging by the heated pool an even more pleasant experience. The outdoor seating accommodates 24 diners, with extra lounge space to which you can retire after your alfresco feast. Onsite tennis courts allow active guests to burn off excess energy. And the ping-pong table and badminton and petanque courts encourage a little holiday competition. Ten mountain bikes are also available for guests. A fantastic way to enjoy the glorious Provençal sun, Chez Jean-Claude is a private paradise that guarantees a memorable holiday experience.
