This single-storey, seven-bedroom villa in the exclusive Punta Cana Resort is everything you want from a Caribbean hideaway. Tropical details add a flourish of local colour to the subtle tones. Outside, a perfectly manicured evergreen garden provides spectacular views over the golf course.

The villa sleeps up to 14 people across seven spacious ensuite bedrooms, making it a natural choice for large families or groups of friends. The bedrooms are split between the ground and the first floor, with two spacious master bedrooms with king beds, gorgeous views and tranquil surroundings. Two further king and two queen bedrooms all have full ensuite facilities, while the final bedroom is a large family room with two queen beds and bunk beds for the little ones.

Full service is included, the villa comes with a personal chef, butler and maid, who ensure every moment is focused on you. The rooms are bright and airy, with blonde pine detailing and traditional Caribbean wickerwork furnishings to give it that relaxed vibe. A large interior living room is mirrored in the outside space, allowing a seamless transition between the two. The dining area sits on the wide veranda, giving the whole complex a wonderfully open feel. Outside, the impressive pool is surrounded by a lounge area and shaded by gently swaying palm trees.

Punta Canta is renowned for its sugar-soft sandy beaches, but head inland and you’ll discover Hoyo Azul – a spectacular cenote with dazzlingly blue waters. Alternatively, tee off on one of the region's best links courses. Unexpected attractions include the replica of a 16th century Italian village at Altos de Chavón and the natural wonders of Reserva Ecológica Ojos Indígenas Eco-park.

We have been renting villas or apartments as a couple and as a family for almost 40 years. While there is an overlap of properties with various rental platforms the reason we would make onefinestay our first choice in future is due entirely to the concierge Paulina. She was outstanding. She was a pleasure to deal with, knowledgeable, efficient. She was kind, helpful and super organized. These qualities resulted in a stress free and many layered experience for our family vacation.
