Cipresso truly is the jewel of Chianti. The villa is located 15 minutes from Siena on a secluded 27-hectare estate, which produces its own delicious wine that can be served within the grand walls. Beautifully restored with an impressive watchtower still intact, this historic villa includes many original features. Here, wood-beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and exquisite stonework are in abundance, all surrounded by immaculate, lush gardens. An idyll for the discerning traveller and the ideal base to explore the world-class wine region.

The expansive estate consists of the main home and the annexe which sits adjacent - the layout is well suited to multi-generational families who require a touch more privacy, or a large group of friends. The annexe features a small kitchenette, a large living room with a cosy fireplace and a dining area. The main floor of the home includes a large dining room, several sitting spaces and an intimate lounge area ideal for late-night cocktails or relaxed hours of reading. A rustic-styled kitchen with stone walls and graceful brick archways is ready for guests to create mouthwatering feasts made with local produce. Before dinner, guests can pour a delicious aperitif and peruse the art gallery on the upper floor with large windows overlooking the Chianti landscape.

Unwind on a plush sun-lounger by the gorgeous pool flanked by verdant greenery and stately trees before towelling off and enjoying an al fresco long lunch on the veranda - entertaining becomes second nature at Cipresso. Come nightfall, retire to one of eight immaculately-appointed bedrooms offering sensational views of nearby vineyards and a rolling landscape peppered with cypresses, fields, and gardens.
