Opening onto a sandy beach and offering exceptional views of the Caribbean Sea, the Balinese-inspired Francis’ Family Pavilion welcomes groups of up to five. Surrounding the villa is an enchanting walled garden, offering complete privacy and seclusion. Guests can enjoy all the amenities and sports facilities of the Turtle Inn resort and are treated to an authentic slice of Belizean life with the nearby fishing village of Placencia.
Spend blissful beach days snorkelling through the crystal-clear waters or exploring the coastline on paddleboards or kayaks. The waters around Belize and its magical island cayes are considered some of the best for barrier reef diving, so why not take a professional scuba tour to explore the vibrant coral gardens and encounter friendly local turtles? Reconnect with your group each day over supper at one of Placencia’s friendly ocean-view restaurants. Sample the freshest snapper and barracuda caught off the coastline, or enjoy a traditional Caribbean-style grill accompanied by a frosted pitcher of rum punch.
Owned by Francis Ford Coppola, Francis’ Family Pavilion boasts a fittingly charismatic ambience. Grand wooden carvings take centre stage in the captivating living room, where you can relax on comfortable seating, surrounded by artwork and antique treasures handpicked by Francis and Eleanor Coppola. After whipping up a meal in the well-equipped kitchen, share your feast on the delightful, thatched-roof dining terrace before taking a sunset stroll along the beach. The villa comes with its own butler, so you won't have to worry about any little details during your stay.
The villa has three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms flank the living room and are entered theatrically through majestic carved wooden doors. These each offer a sumptuous king-size bed and charm with traditional Guatemalan artwork and carved statues. Their boutique ensuite bathrooms offer an indoor rainfall shower and then open onto a private enclave for refreshing open-air showering. There is a third loft bedroom featuring a snug single bed which is accessed by a ladder - perfect for any teens in the group craving their own cosy nook.
With an outdoor space that seems to merge with the azure ocean beyond, guests will adore relaxing by the sparkling pool or taking an afternoon snooze in one of the hammocks strung between towering palms. Prepare to prioritise rest and relaxation at the tranquil Francis’ Family Pavilion.
