Situated on Jamaica's picturesque north coast and part of the Fortlands Road gated community, Happy Hour Villa is a delightful seven-bedroom villa that can sleep up to 14 people. The villa combines contemporary design, comfortable furniture, and a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor living. But it's the beautiful beachfront location that's the main attraction, enabling guests to step down from the manicured garden onto their own private cove.

That private beach leads into turquoise waters that are ideal for snorkelling, paddle boarding and kayaking. If the lure of the outside world captures you, the surrounding area contains several excellent restaurants. With its abundance of waterfalls and secluded swimming spots, Ocho Rios is a 40-minute drive to the east. Montego Bay, Jamaica's vibrant second city, is around an hour to the west.

Guests at Happy Hour Villa are greeted by an expansive entrance hall that leads into the villa’s communal areas – a cosy lounge with fantastic sea views and an indoor dining room with a sizable table. The professionally equipped kitchen includes a host of modern appliances, while downstairs there’s a steam and sauna area. Upstairs, guests benefit from access to a spa and massage room, a dedicated media room, a games room with table football, arcade basketball and a pool table.

All but two bedrooms are on the upper level. There are two master suites, one on either floor, both with king-size beds, walk-in wardrobes, ocean-facing outdoor space and ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers and jacuzzi tubs. Three bedrooms also contain king-size beds, ocean-facing outdoor space and ensuites. The sixth bedroom has two queen-size beds, a sea-view balcony and an ensuite with a shower and separate tub. The final bedroom includes three queen-size beds, an ensuite and a garden-facing balcony.

The villa's outdoor spaces are truly remarkable: a seaside jetty culminates in a covered gazebo with seating, a bar and a sundeck; there’s a covered terrace with an al fresco dining table, bar with widescreen TV, and comfy seating. The remaining outdoor space incorporates a poolside gazebo, outdoor kitchen and hot tub. A floodlit pickleball and tennis court, an air-conditioned gym and a large lawn can all be found at the front of the villa.
