Ready with comfy rattan chairs, its main first-floor balcony is the best place to plot lines and plan putts. The downstairs veranda, meanwhile, opens to a manicured lawn area lent privacy by hedges (plus those titular palms) – and ideal for kids with energy to burn.

Inside, you get a ‘great room’ – uniting the lounge, dining area and superb kitchen in one sprawling space – decorated in rich, gem colours with curiosity-inducing art pieces. Vaulted ceilings conspire with large picture windows for an airy atmosphere. A second, cosier TV lounge awaits downstairs.
