If you’re a keen golfer, Casa de Campo is your idea of heaven. Three championship-standard courses are on your doorstep, and you’re literally on the 7th fairway of La Romana Country Club golf course. Don't worry if golf isn't your thing, though, as everything from equestrian sports to tennis and shooting is on offer. For something a little more unusual, the nearby Altos de Chavón is a replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean artisan’s village, filled with talented craftspeople and artists. For some of the best food on the island, head to the Marina and try some freshly-caught fish with crispy fried plantain and rice.

Everywhere you look at La Brisa, the landscape dominates. The huge terrace and rolling greens of the golf course give this villa a wide-open feel that transitions perfectly from exterior to interior. The great room is spacious and uses soft grey, blue and white tones, with ample seating for everyone. The kitchen is a masterpiece and ideal for food lovers. Or simply let your personal chef do the culinary creativity for you while you relax. The six bedrooms are tranquil oases of complete calm, where the only sound is the birdsong and the soft rustle of the palm trees. Three of the bedrooms have king-size beds, while the remaining three have two full-size beds each. All have ensuite bathrooms that make exquisite use of marble tiling and premium quality fixings.

Outside, a large pool is inviting and just the spot for a few early-morning laps. The elevated whirlpool is ideal for a cold glass of wine or beer with friends as some fresh fish sizzles on the BBQ.     • Please note a registration fee is required for guests staying in rented private villas in order to gain access to Casa de Campo and the use of the resort’s facilities. The resort registration fee is subject to change and paid directly to CDC. Each person, when registered, will receive a Casa de Campo ID card, which will detail the guest's dates of stay. The ID card will grant the individual named on the card access to the resort, as well as the use of various facilities. For complete fees and details please inquire with your agent.
