Nestling at the foot of the towering Rockies and the spectacular San Sophia Ridge, Mountain Village is a charming little community that owes its existence to the natural wonders surrounding it on every side. Summer or winter, this vibrant community provides the perfect base for outdoor lovers to experience the best that the mountains have to offer. During the winter, its enviable location puts it practically on top of the area's best ski runs. Summer sees the snow melt away to reveal glorious hiking trails, a championship golf course, and rivers where the trout are keen to bite any lure that's cast into their crystal-clear waters. With gourmet restaurants and larger Telluride just a short Gondola ride away, Mountain Village is a glorious destination all year round.
Covering over 7,200ft², Larkspur Lane is made for entertaining and celebrations. The octagonal Great Room is specifically designed to give you exceptional views of the mountains from every aspect. It’s light and airy, with bespoke furnishings balancing the neutral tones and textures of the textiles. Two steps lead up to a breakfast dining area and on into the elegant kitchen with a signature wrought iron light hanging and striking centre island. An additional formal dining room features exposed wood beams and a large table for up to ten diners. The main level is home to two of the guest suites, one with a cosy king-size bed and another with two twin beds and with access to a full hallway bathroom. A winding staircase brings you to the upper floor, and the inviting master suite with a king-size bed, sitting area, and not one but two private balconies where you can watch your fellow skiers glide past. An adjoining bunk room with two twin-over-twin beds makes an ideal spot for younger guests.
For group members who would like a little additional privacy, there’s a secondary living area with a queen-size bedroom, kitchenette and full bathroom with a private entrance. A media room, convenient mud room, and - a real treat – your own steam room complete the layout. Take a walk out to the patio, and you'll find an indulgent hot tub waiting to ease those aching muscles. Slip beneath the bubbles, pour a glass of wine, and watch the stars sparkle above the peaks at Larkspur Lane.
