An intimate and secluded retreat in the heart of the Alpilles, Le Mas de Cinq Sous warmly welcomes up to eight guests. Nestled among centuries-old pines and fragrant Mediterranean gardens, this traditional stone farmhouse offers a quintessential Provençal experience.
The villa is near Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, an enchanting town once home to Van Gogh, where today vines climb blonde-stone façades and charming bistros serve regional delicacies like vibrant ratatouille and rich bouillabaisse. Beyond its borders, olive groves, vineyards, and mountain vistas invite deeper exploration. Enjoy sommelier-led wine tastings at one of the local private vineyards or, to take in the full majesty of the landscape, charter a magical hot air balloon flight.
Le Mas de Cinq Sous is a wonderfully tranquil and restorative space, with a rustic fireplace in the living room, where natural materials and neutral hues soothe. The bright, airy kitchen with blue cabinetry and farmhouse styling is the social centre of this beautiful home. Gather around the dining table to prepare supper together, then feast al fresco under the pergola to savour the heady flavours of the local produce.
There are four spacious bedrooms, each with an elegant ensuite - including one with a lavish double hammam and one with a deep soak tub. The serene bedrooms delight with leafy garden outlooks and soothing, minimalist styling. Three of the bedrooms feature a king-size bed, and two of these can be configured as twin beds to suit your needs. The fourth bedroom offers a decadent super-king-size bed.
Bathed in golden light, the grounds make an unforgettable spot to relax with your loved ones, sipping rosé wine on the peaceful lounge terrace served the local way - with thin slices of grapefruit. As the sun starts to set, sink into the enticing natural pool, lulled by the sound of rippling water and the cicadas beyond.

- Arrival and departure are only possible on Saturday’s.
- The villa features a natural swimming pool, not a conventional one. It operates without chemical products such as chlorine or salt. The water is purified naturally through a biological filtration system using aquatic plants. As a result, the appearance and water color may differ from a traditional swimming pool, offering a more natural and eco-friendly swimming experience.
- The access to the villa is a little bit rocky and may not be suitable for a sports car with low ground clearance.
- There is AC throughout the villa.
