The Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region is famous for its magical villages and ancient towns, but Gordes stands out as one of the most spectacular. This picture-postcard village is a warren of meandering cobbled streets and terraces, all leading up to the church and castle at the top. This is a place that needs to be explored slowly, savouring every moment. Your dedicated concierge can arrange reservations at its many outstanding restaurants or car hire so you can venture a little further afield and wander through the delights of Luberon.

The benefit of staying at La Vite is that all of the attractions of Gordes are right on your doorstep. Yet, as you step into this traditional Provence villa, you get a sense of serenity and privacy that lets you instantly relax. The décor in the living spaces is a charming blend of old and new, with exposed beams and authentic architectural motifs balanced with contemporary furnishings. The kitchen is a chef's dream, filled with the latest appliances, and the dining room is the natural choice for a formal family dinner party.

La Vite has six double bedrooms spread across the villa’s three levels. The two primary suites are soothing spaces with queen-size beds, attractive ensuites and incredible views of the town. Two of the remaining guest rooms also have queen-size beds, while the final two bedrooms can be made up with two single beds or one king-size bed a piece - as you please. The villa also comes with a further four trundle beds, ideal for any families with little ones in the group.

Outside, a series of terraces provide you with the best views of the sunset over the mountains, while a heated swimming pool invites you to cool off or get in a few laps before breakfast. A summer outdoor kitchen with a gas BBQ makes informal cookouts a pleasure. Everything about La Vite captures the spirit of life in Provence, surrounding you with opulence yet allowing you to feel as if this is your second home.
