However, if you want to experience island life to the full, your dedicated concierge can arrange for yacht hire so you can go exploring the secret coves and inlets that dot the coastline, allowing you to find your own little slice of tropical paradise. Sports fishing is hugely popular in St Barts, with some of the best game fishing in the world available in the crystal clear blue waters around the island.

If you prefer staying on dry land, Seala is an idyllic base for a relaxed, leisurely island tour. Returning at the end of a busy day, you are greeted by cool, air-conditioned interiors in soft tones and with plenty of plush sofas to sink into. The main level houses a large lounge and open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar. This is just one of two kitchens on offer, both fitted with the latest appliances and the dream of any passionate chef. The décor is a mix of light wood accents and sublime parquet flooring. The dining area is large enough to accommodate all the guests for that special meal of Creole island delicacies such as mahi mahi with spicy sauces. Or you can dine al fresco for a chilled-out afternoon BBQ by the pool.

The bedrooms are tranquil oases of calm, mindfully decorated in soft, soothing colours that are guaranteed to ease you into a deep, restful sleep. All five of the bedrooms feature sumptuous king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is situated in a guest bungalow away from the main villa building, just right for a couple who would like a little additional privacy to enjoy those extraordinary vistas.

Outside, the heated infinity pool dominates the main sun deck, complete with 'underwater' loungers in the shallow end so you can stay cool in the sun. The villa features a fully-fitted fitness room for guests who want to keep up with their workout. But if all you want to do is lie back and look at the view, Seala is the perfect place to appreciate the sheer beauty of St Barts in all its glory.
