Up to five guests can stay in this stunning three-bedroom apartment, making it the perfect option for families and small groups looking to explore the city's ancient roots and modern glamour.

Head to the nearby 18th-century Spanish Steps, where you can climb the 135 steps from the Piazza di Spagna to Gothic-style Chiesa di Trinità dei Monti and enjoy the incredible views. Spend an afternoon browsing the shops around Piazzale Flaminio before taking a seat in one of the cafés to sip a cappuccino - locals have theirs without chocolate. For a gentle postprandial stroll, the grassy banks and picturesque lake of Villa Borghese, Rome's most celebrated park, are just a six-minute walk away from your home from home.

Taking the elevator to the fifth floor, you’ll find the apartment’s charming features (a rustic terracotta-coloured balcony, high ceilings and exposed brickwork) perfectly complemented by modern fixtures and furnishings. Owned by an artist and architect, Spanish Steps Terrace boasts spacious living and dining areas complete with a splendid chandelier, cosy sofas and welcoming fireplace.

As you walk through the generously sized space, you’ll reach the high-tech kitchen at its heart with all the amenities you might need to prepare a picnic or a tasty cacio e pepe. The bedrooms are equally stylish, where you can choose between one of the two doubles or the twin. There are also two beautifully presented bathrooms, enhanced with elegant Italian-inspired art and sparkling marbled bathtubs.

It's fully air-conditioned to keep you cool in the summer months, while a Peloton Bike is also available for those looking to work up a sweat. Relax after a long day exploring the Colosseum, Pantheon and Vatican City on the apartment’s large panoramic terrace and watch the sunset over The Pincian Hill - welcome to la dolce vita!
