Sitting on the Moltrasio side of Lake Como is this sublime nine-bedroom villa that welcomes up to 16 adults and two children, surrounding them with opulent interiors and exquisite exteriors. This authentic Italian villa has been lovingly decorated to incorporate many original features and complements them with classic and contemporary touches to give Splendora a sophisticated feel.
The mesmerising beauty of Lake Como and the elegance of its towns, villages and hamlets make it the perfect escape from the busyness of city life. Peace, serenity and abundant opulence combine to create a delightful location unlike anywhere else in Europe. If you want to spend a day browsing high-end fashion stores, Milan is just 50km away.
With a south-facing aspect and surrounded by terraced gardens, Splendora is a sunny, secluded villa where no expense has been spared to create a magnificent retreat. The estate includes the main villa and a guest cottage for family groups who prefer additional privacy. The interiors create social areas where guests can freely mingle and relax together. A separate TV room is just the spot for a movie night. The professional standard kitchen in the main villa is mirrored with a fully equipped kitchen in the guest cottage, which also has a games room that younger guests will love.
Splendora's nine bedrooms are expansive suites designed to create personal spaces filled with peace and tranquillity. The main villa features seven queen-sized suites with ensuites and views of either Torno village or the gardens The separate cottage has a queen-size bedroom, ensuite, and a mezzanine with two single beds for younger guests.
A wellness centre is a stand-out feature of Splendora, featuring a fully-equipped gym and a peaceful art studio with cavernous arched ceilings and mesmerising lake views to inspire your inner artist. A large swimming pool and hot tub are carefully positioned on separate terraces to give you that serenity, while multiple terraces give the villa real character. A private mooring is also available for rental boats, or charter a water taxi to take you to Como for that special evening meal. Splendora is, quite simply, splendid.
