Providenciales (or Provo) was once a sleepy island home to just a scattering of fishing communities. Today, a peaceful atmosphere very much remains, with the main allures being its wonderfully untouched beaches, charming seaside towns, and extraordinary natural beauty. Villa Alexis sits within throwing distance of a string of white-sand coves where guests can float around in crystal-clear water, zoom about on jet skis, or embark on private boat trips around the enchanting Chalk Sound National Park.

If savouring the local cuisine is top of your wish list, prepare to tuck into fresh fish dishes at the numerous waterside venues.
