This sublime villa has seven bedrooms, welcoming up to 12 guests and surrounding them with opulent interiors and gorgeous gardens. Nestled in the heart of the countryside and just a 20-minute drive to the magnificent city of Lucca, Villa Borgone is a beautiful villa for that very special family retreat.

The Tuscan city of Lucca is a cultural epicentre for the arts, religious importance, and fine dining. Known as 'the city of 100 churches', it invites visitors to spend the day strolling around its cobbled streets to discover places of quiet contemplation. A walk around the 4km of remarkably intact defensive walls and bastions gives you the best views of the city and the surrounding countryside. Ask your dedicated concierge to arrange a private bike tour of Lucca and sample Tuscan appetisers and local wine along the way.

The only baroque villa in Tuscany, Villa Borgone lies in the heart of a winery and ensures guests have all the privacy they could wish for. Inside, the villa's character has been carefully preserved, creating grand living spaces decorated in a classical style that combines soft blue tones and original features. The kitchen is a more modern space yet retains that traditional feel with white tiling, exposed beams, and custom appliances. The dining room is enchanting, with a chandelier hanging above a large wooden table – perfect for that formal dinner or celebratory meal.

The seven bedrooms are tranquil spaces decorated in neutral tones enlivened with blue pops of colour. Four guest rooms are on the first floor, with an additional living room. Three of these bedrooms have cosy double beds, while the fourth has two twin beds. Go up another level to the 'hayloft', and you'll discover a second kitchen and living/dining area and two delightful double bedrooms that share an attractive bathroom.

As you would expect from a villa surrounded by vineyards, Villa Borgone has its own wine cellar. The outside spaces provide panoramic views of the estate, with manicured gardens and a large heated pool dominating the sun terrace. Villa Borgone is a quintessential Tuscan villa with so much heritage and charm that you cannot help but fall in love with it from the moment you arrive.
