Whitewashed Villa Corolli is a striking feature of the green hill of Tiberio that overlooks the sea on the island of Capri. Views over the Gulf of Naples, the Sorrentine Peninsula and out to Mount Vesuvius can be enjoyed from any one of the villa's numerous terraces.

Dating back to the late 19th century, a contemporary restoration has preserved much of the villa's traditional Capri architecture, such as the elegant domes and arches. While also adding modern technology and facilities that make five-bedroom Villa Corolli an ideal family holiday home.

Huge windows in many of the living/dining rooms flood these spaces with light. And bring the vibrant greens and blues of the sea and hills into clear focus against crisp white interiors complemented by lively tiled floors.

Across the three floors of the villa are five ensuite bedrooms. All are light and restful, with pops of colour creating distinct personalities. Each one has a queen-size bed, with two bedrooms also featuring a terrace and a double sofa bed. This brings the total capacity of Villa Corolli to 14.

There's a terrace for every occasion here. Whether it's morning coffee, al fresco meals on a pretty majolica patio in the shade of a leafy tree, or drinks on the rooftop. Entertainment for all ages comes in the form of ping pong and foosball tables. Also sure to be favourite spots are the swimming pool with fabulous sea views, the jacuzzi and an outdoor kitchen with barbecue for fun meal times.

Villa Corolli isn't just a scenic and secluded place to soak up laid-back Mediterranean life. It's also a well-positioned base for exploring the island of Capri, with the port and sandy beach of Marina Grande just a five-minute drive away.
