A postcard-perfect paradise, the villa has many spots to gaze out over the jaw-dropping surroundings, be it from the comfort of a poolside sun lounger, from the dining terrace, or from beautifully manicured gardens. After an afternoon spent in the sun, cool off in the glorious pool where you can practice your lengths, or splash about with your loved ones.

With such divine views on your doorstep, relaxation comes naturally here — and the decor has been carefully selected to reflect that, with a calming colour scheme of greys, creams and dark woods. Sink into the living room sofa and watch a film on the TV, or else play your favourite tunes on the sound system as you sip on delicious cocktails with your loved ones. If it’s wine you’re after, the villa has its very own wine cellar — sample the region’s most-loved wines while tucking into a meal rustled up in the well-equipped kitchen.

For those seeking to maintain their fitness during their stay, the villa not only has a gorgeous pool but also a gym with a range of cardio and strength equipment. Polish off your workout with a stint in the traditional Turkish sauna.

There are four bedrooms at Villa Dei Sogni, each with their own ensuite bathrooms. Ideal for families and groups of friends, two bedrooms feature double beds and two feature twin beds.

It might be tricky to tear yourself away from the delights of the villa, but if you’re eager to explore the local area you’ll find plenty to keep you occupied. Explore Bellagio’s historical centre, or take a local boat from the landing a five-minute drive from the villa to witness the beautiful Lake Como from the water. There are plenty of day trip opportunities too, with the cities of Lecco and Como a 35 and 45 minute drive away respectively.

    HOUSE RULES

    • Local city tax: To be paid in cash on arrival to the keyholder – €5 per adult (12 years and older) per night, for up to 7 nights.
    • Check-in: Arrival at the property is possible between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – late arrival may result in you not being able to enter the property the same day or in a supplement of €30 per hour to be paid directly to the key holder.
    • Check-out: Departure from the property must be between 8:00 am and 10:00 am – departure time should be agreed with the key holder on arrival and respected. Departure time is the time when you are packed up and ready to leave the property. Early departures need to be agreed with the key holder and may result in an extra cost of €30
    • The property should be left in the same condition as you found it. Items such as dirty dishes in the sink or similar will be charged.
    • If you lose the key of the villa you may be charged €120
    • Unjustified emergency calls for assistance at the property will be charged €50
