With five opulent bedrooms and welcoming up to ten guests, it's the perfect opportunity for families to relax in the Tuscan sunshine, go on cultural explorations, and discover why this part of Italy captivates the hearts of everyone who visits.

Within easy reach of this gorgeous villa is the delightful town of Calenzano. Here, you can wander through historic streets and browse the boutiques or drop into one of the town's restaurants for an authentic Tuscan meal made from local ingredients. For motor-racing fans, the Mugello circuit is just a short drive away, while a 30-minute car journey takes you into the heart of Florence and its wealth of cultural treasures.

Villa Galli has been restored sympathetically so that the original 19th-century features are complemented by wonderfully indulgent classical design motifs. The result is an elegant and spacious villa that invites you to explore its charms at your leisure. The living room is sumptuously furnished to create a cosy atmosphere. As with any Italian villa, the heart of the home is the kitchen, a fully-equipped space that keeps those beguiling rustic touches such as tiled splashbacks and lattice cupboard fronts. The dining room is sublime, lit by a sparkling chandelier with a feature table as its centrepiece.

The villa's five bedrooms are simply divine, decorated in sophisticated palettes of pastel colours accented with fine silk drapery and period furniture. Four king-size rooms and a twin bedroom with two single beds offer flexible sleeping arrangements, making the villa family-friendly. Attractive ensuites and shared bathrooms are of an exceptionally high standard, with unique tiling and original features to give each room real character.

Stunning, mature gardens surround the villa, and a large swimming pool is just the spot for a few early-morning laps before breakfast. The al fresco dining area is ideal for those more informal meals. The views from the terrace are enchanting, and watching the sunset turn the Tuscan countryside gold with a glass of wine in hand is a memory that will last a lifetime.
