This enchanting seven-bedroom villa complex is in a secluded location in the highly desirable Riviera Maya area, close to Playa del Carmen and ancient Tulum. Comfortably sleeping up to 23 guests, Villa Onze is a one-of-a-kind, enriched with a spectacular blend of traditional and contemporary elements and with every possible indulgence at your disposal.

From the tropical forests with their hidden cenotes to the powder-soft sand of Xpu Há beach, this part of the Riviera Maya is exceptional. A hike around the beautifully preserved Mayan ruins of Tulum gives you an insight into the history of this region. The restaurants of Playa del Carmen beckon food lovers, serving up local treats such as Yucatán’s most famous dish, cochinita pibil – a delicious slow-roasted pork. Make sure you accompany this mouthwatering meal with a glass of the local tequila.

Combining modern interiors with a wabi-sabi design ethic, the principal influence throughout this peaceful haven is simplicity. The lush surroundings are echoed in the interiors, where natural elements harmonise alongside the sophistication of modern décor. Social areas blend indoor and outdoor themes, transitioning seamlessly from one to the other. The professional standard kitchen is the domain of your personal chef, creating a customised menu to introduce you to the delights of Mexican cuisine. Food is served in the dining area or al fresco under the stars, with your bartender mixing cocktails in the half-moon bar.

The bedrooms are exquisitely decorated and designed to be flexible for larger groups. The primary suite on level one of the main villa has a unique round king-size bed, an attractive ensuite, and a private balcony. The Cottage houses five single or two king-size beds, making it an ideal space for a family group. The Lodge, located in the wooden palapa, has a king-size bed, three single beds, and a large bathroom with indoor and outdoor rainfall showers.

Two bedrooms in the villa feature sumptuous king-size beds and additional couch single beds on request, while the final two villa bedrooms have two queen-size beds and extra couch single beds on request. All bedrooms have enticing ensuites as well as balconies or access to private garden areas.

The outside is as spectacular as the interior, with a large swimming pool, mature lawn and a cheerful children’s play area featuring a trampoline and a cenote with a slide and swings. For those evening cookouts with the family, a BBQ and grill is on offer. A yoga studio is available for a morning stretching session; finish the evening under the stars around the fire pit. The serenity of Xpu Há Beach is just a short distance away, and the Mayan jungle surrounds this blissful sanctuary.

    • A $1,000 USD cash food deposit for groceries is required on arrival.
    • Please note, there are neighbourhood noise restrictions which begin at 10:00pm nightly.
    • The villa is solar powered and has a generator for back up, because of this the A/C is only available in the bedrooms for night time use *6pm – 7am.
    • The kitchen is for staff use only but there is an area for guests to prepare snacks and drinks and full-time staff are on duty in the kitchen and bar areas throughout the day.
    • Please note, an additional single or sofa bed can be added to four of the bedrooms upon request to accommodate further guests. Please enquire with a Travel Advisor for further details.
