Basking in the Jamaican sunshine in the historic Old Fort Bay is Villa Reverie, a gloriously serene five-bedroom escape that comfortably sleeps up to ten guests. Just a three-minute walk from one of the best beaches on the Jamaican north coast, it’s an ideal location for a family celebration or indulgent getaway.

All along the north coast of Jamaica, secret coves and wide expanses of sugar-soft sand tempt you to relax in one of the world’s most unhurried places. Wander down a quiet private road to the beautiful sandy beach, where the villa staff will set up beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler filled with drinks and snacks of your choice. Close by is one of the island’s best-loved attractions, the incredible Dunn’s River Falls & Park. After exploring the falls, local restaurants offer delicious dishes such as escovitch fish and Jamaica’s national dish, saltfish and ackee.

Villa Reverie’s sleek contemporary style harmonises with the lush natural surroundings. The indoor-outdoor transition takes you from spacious, open-plan interiors cooled by AC and ceiling fans to the greenery of the mature gardens and down to the white sand beach. The colours are echoed in the décor, which uses a charming combination of blues and neutrals to integrate with the magnificent setting. A state-of-the-art kitchen has every appliance imaginable, while the outdoor kitchen and bar are just right for a more relaxed, informal meal.

The villa’s five bedrooms are intelligently laid out with cosy seating areas, private terraces, and fitted closets. The primary suite has an indulgent king-size bed and French doors open out onto a private garden. The ensuite has an enticing rain-fall shower or you can lay back in the unique garden tub and let the Caribbean soak into your body. The remaining four bedrooms each have their own character, offering king-size beds and sublime ensuites finished to the highest standard for a true spa experience.

Outside, the gardens invite you to sit back in one of the swing chairs with a cocktail served by one of the villa’s staff, and simply laze the day away. Take a dip in the infinity pool, or wander down to the warm sands of the beach and let the sea lap at your toes as you take a sunset stroll for pure tropical perfection.
