Located within walking distance of downtown Telluride, this three-bedroom chalet is bright, light and airy, with fabulous views of the mountains. Welcoming up to six guests, it's the ideal choice for families who want to enjoy the summer festival season or are looking for walk-to-ski convenience during the winter months. This charming retreat has that log-cabin feel but with a contemporary twist.

Telluride started life as a silver mining town. And while the shine may have gone from the mines, it’s now home to a festival celebrating the silver screen instead. In fact, Telluride tends to celebrate everything, from food and drink to jazz and dance. All summer long, you'll be entertained by a festival every weekend. Once the temperature starts to drop, the winter sports scene takes over, offering skiers and snowboarders some of the most challenging high-alpine runs in the Rockies. After all that activity, it's time to wander down Main Street and try out some wholesome American cooking and locally-brewed craft ales. Or go for something a little more exotic in one of the many gourmet restaurants.

Wheeler Avenue fuses traditional materials such as timber and stone with modern design concepts that accentuate the natural beauty of the various elements. The interior is a minimalist masterclass that allows each part of the design to have its moment in the spotlight. Every aspect has been carefully thought out, from the elegantly simple living area to the sleek, state-of-the-art kitchen and refined dining space. Leather is used copiously throughout, adding a luxe flourish that softens the simplicity of the décor. The three bedrooms are sublime, providing each guest with space to relax and unwind. The master suite features a king-size bed in a distinctive black and white striped frame, with a spa-standard ensuite and customised touches throughout. The remaining two bedrooms have cosy queen-size beds and bespoke features.

A delightful terrace gives you magnificent views of the mountains and forests, just the place to sip your morning coffee and plan the day’s adventures. With the babbling of the San Miguel River below, this is a downtown chalet with a mountaintop personality.
