The setting is a big part of the experience here. Conchas Chinas is an exclusive residential part of Puerto Vallarta and the villa is an easy walk from shops, restaurants and nightlife. It’s only 20 minutes from the airport, too, so you won’t need to worry about hiring lots of rental cars to all get around. Food is prepared to your taste, so simply let the staff know what you’d like, they will shop for you (there’s no mark-up on food), and then the three chefs will whip up a feast for your group.

Stand-out features of this villa include the largest private pool in Puerto Vallarta and a poolside palapa bar. Spa treatments, yoga and Pilates can also all be arranged, and the on-site concierge can organise local activities and reservations. Impressively, each of the 22 king or queen bedrooms comes with its own ensuite bathroom.
