With its wind-shaped sandstone cliffs and sweep of golden sand, Happy Bay is the essence of a Caribbean beach. Clear blue water laps the shoreline, and the green vegetation reaches down to the beach. Move a little further south, and you come to Friar's Bay, a bustling community with restaurants serving freshly caught fish cooked to perfection using a blend of French and Creole recipes. You can choose from glorious tranquillity or lively and energetic - or try a little bit of both for the complete island experience.
Villa Be Happy captures the spirit of St Martin with a contemporary exterior and a charmingly rustic interior that uses organic textures and soft colourways to echo the tones of the island. The living areas are relaxed, with bold artwork juxtaposed by island-inspired architectural touches. You can dine inside or out, with meals cooked in the sleek kitchen and served by the pool or in the dining area.
The three bedrooms all offer cosy king-size beds and ocean or pool views. The décor has a boutique feel, with personal touches that give each room an individual character. Driftwood headboards and rattan furniture add to that natural ambience, complemented by tiled ensuites with dual vanities and spa-standard fixtures.
