Thailand Villas

The perfect stay
in Thailand

Thailand is a country of extraordinary opposites. Vast cities dripping in towering skyscrapers, hectic street markets, and neon-lit nightlife sit shoulder-to-shoulder with tranquil paddy fields and majestic hilltops sporting giant golden Buddhas. It’s also a nation blessed with a scattering of beautiful tropical islands that host breathtaking white-sand beaches, thriving coral reefs, and countless luxury Thailand villa rentals.

Thailand’s eclectic variety of destinations makes it a South East Asian nation you’ll want to revisit again and again. Adventure and excitement await in buzzing Bangkok, where you can spend your days marvelling at handsome landmarks, tucking into tantalising Thai cuisine, and sampling the country’s colourful contemporary culture. By contrast, Chiang Mai to the south is awash with ancient temples, especially in its picture-perfect Old Town, and sits on the doorstep of several verdant National Parks.

Craving some relaxation time? You’ll uncover our sumptuous Thailand villas scattered along its pristine coastline. Relax in a lush paradise on the sandy shores of Koh Samui and Phuket. As the two largest islands, they’re inundated with sweeping sandy swathes where you can slumber in the sunshine, sip lemongrass-infused cocktails, or indulge in a soothing massage beneath a bamboo cabana. Thai hospitality is second to none, whether you’re visiting a streetside noodle bar in Bangkok or checking into your private Thailand rental villa with help from your dedicated concierge.

Things you can’t miss in Thailand
  • Learn how to make authentic Pad Thai, as well as other classic Thai dishes, in one of the many cooking classes offered in Phuket.
  • Visit the Khun Si waterfall in Koh Samui, a beautiful natural bathing pool that offers relief from the Thai heat.
  • Sports lovers will want to try a Muay Thai boxing class. Thailand's national sport, your dedicated concierge can arrange a taster session with expert coaches for you to discover this traditional martial art.

Our insider tips for Thailand

“What I love about Thailand is its diversity and energy. A unique fusion of cosmopolitan cities and sleepy fishing towns, bustling beach bars and vibrant street markets, this is a land of colour and contrast.”

Best time to go

  • During spring: March to May may be your official ‘spring’, but it's the peak summer season in Thailand. Average temperatures, especially in the south, soar to around 35℃ (95℉), making it a prime time for a beach getaway. April is also when the Songkran Festival (Thai New Year) is held, with Bangkok or Chiang Mai coming alive with street parties, firework displays and other joyful celebrations.

  • During summer: by the time early June rolls around, it’s usually a little cooler. This is the beginning of the rainy season too, so expect bouts of heavy rain and high humidity. Showers usually only last a few hours, and you’ll find it’s drier in the east, making places like Koh Chang and Krabi’s east coast resorts a good place to book a Thailand villa rental.

  • During autumn: September is often Thailand’s wettest month, although you’ll find the rain makes its rural landscapes lusher than ever. October is a great time for some sightseeing thanks to lower rainfall and comfortable daily temperatures of around 23℃ (75℉). Want to immerse yourself in Thai culture? Coincide your trip with the enchanting Loy Krathong festival in early November, which sees rivers and lakes filled with hundreds of floating lanterns.

  • During winter: December to February is peak travel season, with little rain and balmy yet easy-to-manage temperatures of 25℃ to 30℃ (77℉ to 86℉). It’s a particularly perfect time to enjoy a Thai luxury villa break in places like Phuket. You could also venture into Southern Thailand for canoe trips and elephant spotting tours in the beautiful Khao Sok National Park.

How to get there

Make the journey as memorable as the arrival. Your dedicated concierge can arrange transportation from the closest airport or train station to your Thai villa.

By plane

Thailand has several international airports, including on its larger islands. Air travel is a great way to travel domestically, too, if you’re soaking up two separate regions in one trip. Your concierge can arrange a private transfer to take you straight to your Thailand vacation rental.

By boat

If one of Thailand’s blissful smaller islands is your final destination, you’ll likely need to reach it by boat or ferry. This can be a pretty special experience, and it lets you enjoy some stunning views before you even arrive at your luxury private villa. Note that some ferries are seasonal and that they’ll likely be suspended during stormy weather.

By car

While Thailand’s cities are best explored on foot, public transport, taxi or tuk-tuk, you may want to organise a car rental if you’re venturing beyond. Phuket is particularly pleasant to drive around, and you can even access it by road from the mainland via Sarasin Bridge.

By train

A network of comfortable, air-conditioned trains swiftly connects Thailand’s towns, cities and coastal resorts. Rail travel is a wonderful way to soak up the remarkable rural scenery and reach far-flung destinations, especially if you want your getaway to go at a more leisurely pace.

Local tips

  • Bring insect repellent and lightweight clothing to avoid any bug bites.
  • Ensure to only buy and drink bottled water to avoid possible contamination.
  • Avoid discussing the Thai Monarchy in public as there are strict laws in place that prohibit any criticism.
