Situated within the exclusive gated community of Villas del Mar, Casita 377 rests upon a glorious, lofty spot. Below lies the shimmering Sea of Cortez and Palmilla Beach: a mere five-minute walk down the hill. The airport is only 30 minutes away and the idyllic town of San Jose del Cabo is just 20 minutes away. Also nearby are several championship-level golf courses. There's also a wonderful staff of butler, housekeeper and private chef to look after you.

Mediterranean influences have shaped the graceful curved arches and stately columns of Casita 377. Yet the interior celebrates the Baja love of shining white walls and dazzling pops of colour across fabrics, tiling and beautiful artwork. The glorious living area opens completely to the outdoors; there's a cosy sitting area of deep-cushioned seating and a handsome dining table with lovely blue toile textile-covered chairs. Recessed behind a soaring arch is the delightful kitchen with handmade Mexican tiles and a beautiful breakfast bar.

The four chic and spacious bedrooms are sumptuous havens with voluptuous beds, exquisite wooden furnishings and gorgeous bathrooms decked in travertine, marble and mosaics. There are two king suites, a queen suite and one twin that's perfect for kids. Every room has its own private balcony or terrace area with breathtaking views.

The graceful terrace has an old-world charm that is simply magical. Loungers and cushioned seating abound, facing out towards the shimmering horizon. A pergola-shaded dining area is a romantic nook with a built-in BBQ. The greenery fringed hot tub sits above the pool with a waterfall connecting the two. The infinity pool itself is absolutely sublime: its edge blends into the azure of the ocean and this lofty perch makes you feel as if you were floating above the world. Finally, encased in a graceful curve of stone, the fire pit provides that idyllic final touch of magic and majesty as the crackle of flames and ocean waves lull you into peacefulness.
