Cabo San Lucas started life as home to the Pericú people and spent centuries as a sleepy fishing village. However, thanks to its location on one of Mexico's most spectacular coastlines, it's now a hugely desirable destination. Streets are lined with independent stores and fine restaurants, and the beaches are dusted with powder-soft sand. From diving and snorkelling to jungle treks and cenote swimming, your dedicated concierge will arrange the best ways for you and your guests to experience Cabo and all it has to offer.

Casa 78 at Copala Quivira is a colourful place. The blue of the ocean and the sky are echoed in the sparkling waters of the pool and the jacuzzi, as well as the walls of the primary bedroom. In fact, colour and patterns play a key role in the interior of this cheerful villa. An open-plan layout encompasses the social area, dining space and sleek kitchen, where the natural light and indoor-outdoor transition to the terrace and al fresco dining space.

The bedrooms have a distinctly Mexican feel, with more colour but used in a soothing, restful way and accented by seasoned wood and subtle embellishments. The primary suite has a king-size bed, a private balcony with ocean views, and an ensuite with a jacuzzi tub. The three remaining guest rooms each have balconies and ensuites and provide a choice of a king-size bed, a queen-size bed, or two twins, which can be pushed together.

The outside of Casa 78 at Copala Quivira is just as beguiling as the inside, with an utterly charming rooftop terrace for those balmy evenings or nights when you want to lie back, pina colada in hand, and watch for shooting stars.
