This majestic Italian retreat is a dream for multi-family vacations, comprising two villas, Villa Maria and Villa Serena, separated by a statue-lined harbour. Sitting in seven acres of enchanting gardens and woodlands, guests will enjoy complete seclusion within this prestigious estate.
Lake Como has a little something to keep everyone entertained. Dotted around the picturesque lake are quaint cobblestone villages, brimming with vibrant artisanal stores and authentic trattorias that serve exceptional Italian cuisine. There are quiet coves around the lake where you can picnic in the serene surroundings, as well as an abundance of water sports activities, from windsurfing to wakeboarding. For a change of pace, Milan – home to Italy's finest fashion houses - is just a 45-minute drive away.
Cigno’s two villas offer refined and comfortable living and dining spaces for guests. Villa Maria boasts two formal living rooms, a music room, and a TV room that opens onto a stunning terrace. Each living space feels warm and inviting with sumptuous seating, antique furniture, and period artwork. There is a spacious, modern kitchen with an informal dining space and a chic dining room where guests can feast beneath a sparkling chandelier. Villa Serena delights with a bright and airy open plan living and dining area, a charming reading room set beneath a vaulted ceiling, and a contemporary blond wood kitchen.
In Villa Maria, there are three ensuite queen-size bedrooms and a twin bedroom with access to a private bathroom. There are also three king-size ensuite bedrooms (which can be arranged as twins) and an ensuite bedroom with a double bed. Meanwhile, Villa Serena boasts four king-size ensuite bedrooms (each can be arranged as a twin) and two queen-sized bedrooms, one with an ensuite and one with a private bathroom. Cigno’s elegant bathrooms boast stone accents and traditional tiled floors.
Each villa benefits from a private pool and leafy, stylishly furnished terraces for al fresco suppers and leisurely lounging. Pop open a bottle from the local vineyard and soak up golden hour at the magical Cigno.
